Curricula Design and Development |
|
ELCC designs and develops a
wide array of e-Learning curricula and courses in different disciplines in order
to provide organizations and individual learners with the knowledge and skills
they need to stay on the cutting edge of technology and leadership. |

The Content Development Process |
The content
development process involves the transformation of unstructured raw content into
interactive and effective e-Learning content by leveraging the expertise of the
center’s content development team comprising software engineers, Instructional
Designers (ID)s, graphic designers and animators. |

Content Localization |
|
ELCC works with and coordinates the efforts of sector-specific, in-country
agencies, independent Subject Matter Experts, consultants and translators to
develop and localize the curricula of learning material in a variety of
disciplines in a way that captures the essence of the concerned culture/context
and fully engages learners. |

The Center have developed and localized courses in fields of Business,
Management, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology and e-Learning jointly with
reputable world-class organizations such as Cisco, Middlesex University and
Microsoft. |

Through its content localization function, ELCC aims to: |

Provide access to specialized, quality content that is directly applicable or
adaptable/translatable to the local context

Create locally adapted curricula in terms of course content (terminology and
proprietary examples from the specific country, business or industry), course
organization and media creation

Training Delivery |
|
The professional development and lifelong learning
function of ELCC focuses on enhancing the technical, professional and
entrepreneurial skills of the largest segments of citizens who have finished
their formal education. |

Increased access, scalability and outreach are at the heart of the Center’s
training function which is made possible through the tactical and efficient
utilization of latest e-Learning tools and techniques. |
|
The training function is conducted at ELCC’s
wide-reach National Delivery Network that covers over 700 e-Learning delivery
centers allover the nation. To date, the Center has delivered training to 56,610
students, 3,260 instructors and 3,000 small and medium enterprises (SME)s. |

Training Activities |

Training of Trainers (ToT) - prepare instructors to facilitate the blended
learning programs and provide them with the necessary IT and e-Learning
management skills to mange their e-Learning classrooms.

capacity and has built expertise in designing, developing and managing web
portals using the latest ASP.net and Web 2.0 technology and in accordance with
internationally identified and recognized portal development and web content
management guidelines and standards. |
